Four-wheeled small Daihatsu cars or Tuk
Tuks (not like three-wheeled Tuk Tuks in Bangkok) are
ready to service both local people and tourists everywhere
in Phuket Town and popular beaches. Tuk Tuks in Phuket
normally are red or white color, and sometimes have
a sign "TAXI" on the roof.
Stop: Intercity bus station, in front of department
stores, catching along rode side. Time: 6.00 a.m. to 21.00 p.m., but in major beaches
like Patong, Tuk Tuks are available all night. Rates: Approximate 10 - 50 baht per person for
destination within same area. For long distances, passengers
can negotiate with the driver.
